Fortnite sprites are collectible companions that arrived in Chapter 7 Season 3 of Battle Royale — and each season brings a fresh roster. The Chapter 7 Mini Season sets sail with an all-new, pirate-themed cast, from the Mythic Plundarrgh and Sweet Dreams to the Transponder Snail: each sprite is a little creature with its own passive ability that travels with you into a match once you have unlocked it.
You find sprites inside chests and supply drops during a match. Finding one isn't enough on its own: to keep a sprite permanently you have to extract it before the match ends. After that it's yours for good, and you can summon it in future matches by spending the Sprite Dust currency.
There are 12 Fortnite sprites this season, in Normal plus the new Cursed and Fortune variants. Not every sprite comes in every variant, so the complete set is 22 — and that's exactly what the sprite checklist above helps you check off, variant by variant, until your locker hits 100%. When a season ends, your board isn't lost: it moves to the Past seasons page exactly as you left it.

Note: not every Chapter 7 Mini Season sprite comes in every variant — Transponder Snail and Sweet Dreams are Normal-only, and Chester has Normal and Fortune so far — so the board has gaps where a variant doesn't exist. Rarities come from the game files; this season's summon costs haven't been confirmed yet, so dust prices are estimates.
This season brings two new variants alongside Normal: Cursed and Fortune. Not every sprite has every variant — Transponder Snail and Sweet Dreams are Normal-only, and Chester has Normal and Fortune so far. A Cursed or Fortune sprite is still the same sprite with the same ability, and the bonuses the two variants add haven't been confirmed yet. Earlier seasons had their own variant line-ups (Gold, Cheat Master, Gummy, Galaxy, Gem, Holofoil, Cube, Quack…); those boards live on under Past seasons.

How to get Cursed or Fortune sprites: both variants are new this Mini Season, and how they unlock in-game hasn't been confirmed yet — nor have their bonuses. Whichever way you get one, extract it before the match ends to keep it, then tick it off on the checklist above.

Not this season — Gold and Cheat Master were Chapter 7 Season 4 variants and aren't part of the Mini Season. Your Season 4 board, Gold and Cheat Master included, lives on under Past seasons.
Mythic is the highest rarity tier, above Rare, Epic and Legendary, and the Mini Season has two Mythic sprites: Plundarrgh and Sweet Dreams. With Plundarrgh, opening a chest grants increased pickaxe and movement speed; Sweet Dreams grants a random item at each level and explodes with Mythic loot at max level.
There are three: Transponder Snail grants extra resources on pickup, and teammates who also have it equipped get some extra too; Lil' Flacko creates a small shockwave on landing that knocks back enemies; and Lil' Uzi Vert Jr. generates a Chug Splash effect when you restore shields. Like every sprite, you find them in chests and supply drops and extract them to keep them.
Season 4's sprites and their variants (Gold, Cheat Master, Loot Hacker, Bounty Hunter) left the game when the season ended. Your collection from that season isn't gone: the Past seasons page keeps your whole Season 4 board exactly as you left it, and you can still fix mistakes on it and export it as an image.
